I live and work in the Tampa Bay area. St. Petersburg to be precise.
I have lived here, off and on, for almost 20 years.
I have worked with such great organizations as USF, SBDC Tampa Bay, STAR TEC, Maddux Report, and Fifth Third Bank.
I stay not because of family (although I have a great one, partially located here), not because of weather (which is beautiful most of the year), but because of opportunity.
Yes, opportunity.
“But, Daniel, there is no capital here, no readily available resources, no 500 pound gorillas to partner with.”
Here is a secret that I have been holding for a while… opportunity is everywhere, especially here.
But I have also taken a secret vow. A vow first proposed to me by Julia Gorzka, who founded BrandTampa.com.
A vow of positivity.
It works wonders removing “barriers” and adjusting attitudes.
Brainstorm Weekly has taken the vow, so has media guru Nancy Howe, marketing mavrick Chris Kluis, and technology business attorney John Schnackel. Will you?
I’m right there with you!
Bingo, right on!!
Go Daniel! I vow to Positivity because the alternative is such a lousy option
Speaking of opportunity in Tampa Bay, thought I’d share the CoCreativ™ Project with your readers: http://www.cocreativ.com/form.html
Right on! Tampa needs more go getters.
Keep up the good work Daniel.
