Benchmarking is certainly attracting a lot of attention these days, but what are the best resources?
In terms of financing benchmarks, RMA and the US Census Bureau are still the gold standards.
Regarding Operations and Management, I have found that the top three (in no particular order) have been BPIR.com, Best Practices, LLC and BenchNet.com.
MarketingSherpa.com has really been my standby marketing benchmark database as of late, although the Direct Marketing Association has been useful on occasion as well.
Are there any additional services you consistantly use that you care to provide?

I hate to litter your blog with URLs, but we have a website that lists the best of benchmarking as follows:
Books – http://www.makingthenumber.com/content/view/30
Articles – http://www.makingthenumber.com/content/view/33
Websites – http://www.makingthenumber.com/content/view/34
Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not mention that we have a book (Making the Number) coming out in October on the more specific topic of sales benchmarking.
Cheers,
Mike Drapeau
