In my post on marketing, we discussed three critical marketing initiatives. The first listed was of the short-term variety.
What are the elements of short-term marketing?
- Direct Response Advertising (banner, classified, infomercial, mail, pay-per-click, plane, print, radio, retail, rich media, satellite, telephone, tv, etc.)
- Promotional Events (coupons, grand opening, in-store, open house, speaking engagement, special offer, trade show, vip party, wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tubeman, webinar, etc.)
My definition of short-term would be execution and payoff in less than 90 days.
At Gambit, we expect short-term initiatives to run between 1/10th and 1/5th of the overall marketing budget.
